Terms & Conditions of Sale

ACCEPTANCE & AGREEMENT

All orders are subject to acceptance by Alto-Shaam,

Inc., Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, U.S.A., in

accordance with their terms. All orders are subject to

current prices. Alto-Shaam reserves the right to make

changes in design or add any improvements on

equipment deemed necessary.

PAYMENT TERMS

Subject to the approval of the Credit Department.

CANCELLATION & CHANGES

Alto-Shaam must receive written notification of all

cancellations and/or changes. Cancellations must be

received within 48 hours from date of acknowledgment.

Cancellations requested after 48 hours are subject to a

20% cancellation fee.

PRICES

Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices do

not include taxes, shipping, or handling charges.

SHIPMENTS

Alto-Shaam, Inc. reserves the right to select the manner

and route of shipment, based on the best carrier for the

final destination. All shipments shall be F.O.B., factory,

Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, U.S.A. Upon arrival, it is

the customers responsibility to inspect for freight damage

and ensure condition of goods.

DAMAGE CLAIMS

If a shipment is lost or damaged in transit, the

purchaser must make his claim directly with the carrier.

All merchandise must be unpacked and inspected

immediately, and, if damaged, a claim must be filed

with the carrier. Visible damage should be noted on the

carrier’s receipt.

RETURN POLICY

Requests for the return of equipment must be received in

advance from Alto-Shaam, Inc. Authorization will be

provided only by Alto-Shaam. No returns will be accepted

on special or custom built equipment or on equipment

older than ninety (90) days from the original date of

shipment. The Alto-Shaam receiving department has been

instructed to refuse all unauthorized return shipments.

ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS

• Check the individual catalog specification sheet for

specific electrical information.

• 50 Hz equipment is available by factory quote only.

HALO HEAT COOKING & HOLDING OVENS (single phase only)

• 208-240 V.A.C. - 60 Hz is standard. Ovens are

equipped with a voltage conversion to allow voltage

selection at time of installation.

• Ovens will be furnished with an electrical cord and

plug for a minimum modification charge of $135.

NEMA plug or receptacle configuration must be

specified on the order.

DOORS

• Right-hand door swing is standard. Left-hand door

swing must be specified on the order. Quickchillers

have a left-hand door swing as standard.

• Double compartment pass-through equipment cannot

have all doors hinged on the same side.

MODIFICATIONS

Please contact a factory representative for a quotation on

modifications. Additional lead time may be necessary.

SHIPPING WEIGHTS SHOWN IN THIS PRICE LIST ARE

AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE BUT MAY VARY TO SOME

EXTENT WHEN EQUIPMENT IS WEIGHED PRIOR TO SHIPMENT.
