Use an approved

flow of gas to the

required to be supplied by the owner/operator.

Close the individual manual shut-off valve to

isolate the fryer from the gas supply piping system

during any pressure testing at test pressures equal

to or less than

psig.(3.4kPa).Thefryerand

individual shut-off valve must be disconnected

from the gas supply piping system during

any pressure testing at pressures in

excessof1/2psig.(3,4kPa).

In the U.S.A., installation must conform to local

codes or, in the absence of local codes, with the

current edition of the National Fuel Gas Code,

NFPA-54andANSIZ83.11aCSA1.8a2004(or

latestedition).InCanada,installationmustbein

accordancewithlocalcodes,CAN/CGA-B149.1,

The inlet supply line must be properly sized

to accommodate all individual appliances

simultaneously used on the same line but must

neverbesmallerthan3/4” I.D.

LEAK TESTING

Installation requires gas leak testing on all gas

piping and fittings. Use an approved electronic

leak device or a soap and water solution at all gas

connections. If bubbling appears when using a soap

and water solution, the connection must be refitted.

Never use an open flame to leak test.
